I should explain that my forum is still in a beta state and closed to public registrations, friend invites only, so there's not been anything to actually moderate yet other than closing or moving the odd thread as part of normal operations, nothing disciplinary related. The way I see it, if someone is qualified to moderate, ie trusted by the admin to do a good job, then I can't see the point of just restricting them to certain parts of the forum, hence, all my mods are supermods. I run a XenForo* based forum which supports mods (restricted) and supermods (unrestricted) and to be honest, I don't get why there's even the option to have restricted mods.
